ABOUT THIS BOOK

USER REVIEWS

A Great Tool, especially combined with Catalyst 2,0
~ Written on Apr 9, 2006. out of users found this review helpful.

May be this book is sold out, because I found it very difficult to receive one of the last copies provided by amazon.com, may be I am wrong.May be that is, because it is a great book and a great tool for learning "Writing for Your Life" (Introduction,p.1) or "Writing to Understand Experience" (p.47) or to make it short: "Writing for Information" (pp.97,173),for "Evaluation" (p.241) to "Analyze Images" (p.303, for "Persuasion" (p.451), for "Inspiration" (p.521), for "Amusement" (p.569)or for "Experiment" (p.609). I found this book (fifth edition) priced with more than 100 EUR, which are more than 100 US-$). That may be very interesting for every potential customer.

I like this book as one of my most interesting "Writing Books". Perhaps there are customers who would be interested to read just two other books which are (as I think)comparable in their style and way of teaching:(1) Marlys Mayfield:Thinking for Yourself , 7th-ed.2006 and (2)Sydney I Dobrin, Anis S. Bawarshi "A Closer Look". For me these three books are those who are wonderful in their way of teaching how to read and (perhaps) how to write.
