I received this book in a very timely manner and the book was in good condition. Usually when i order text books it takes a very long time to receive. I received this book within a week. Overalll, the quality of the book was okay. I should have paid extra for faster delivery. It took about 6 business days for the book to arrive.

The only other reviewer of this text unfortunately decided to post a review of Amazon's delivery service, knowing this is an inappropriate forum for criticising Amazon. This text book is just fine.

I used it for a marketing course as part of a business minor program at Colorado State University. Initially I had a hard time getting past some of the images, until I realized they were captured "in the wild" and represented how people really do advertise.

The book uses a very common pedagogy by talking about theory and supplementing it with real world examples. I'd recommend it, but not for casual reading. It is definitely a textbook.

This rating is not about the book itself because I haven't read it yet.

The delivery time was worse than expected, at the far end of, or possibly beyond Amazon's delivery estimate. (Ordered 3/9; Delivered 4/2)
And even worse: The book is not the book shown in the picture. It is indeed the 11th edition (as stated in the description) but it is the "International Edition", "For use by students outside the United States". (The description didn't mention that this was the international edition.)

So those are the reasons why I give it 2 stars--- which has nothing to do with the content of the book, and all to do with Amazon.
