USER REVIEWS

Good book

Really good book to have if you are in the real estate business. However, not all the words or phrases are in this book so you should follow it up by having a plain English/Spanish dictionary.

Okay if you only need only a few real estate terms.

In reality, any dealings in real estate also require terms in related fields, such as finance, taxes, accounting, banking, law, and more. This dictionary provides about 2,000 entries. A decent selection of terms pertaining to some areas of real estate. Realistically, a bilingual dictionary in real estate would need many more entries to properly cover this and related fields.

There are complete business dictionaries which cost about the same as this one. The Oxford Spanish Business Dictionary provides about 50,000 translations, and Webster's New World English-Spanish/Spanish-English Business Dictionary has over 100,000. That means that for each term in this dictionary there are 50 in Webster's New World English-Spanish/Spanish-English Business Dictionary.

If you buy one of these two you get thousands of real estate terms plus many thousands of terms that you are likely to need anyway if you work in real estate or related fields. Therefore, I recommend buying The Oxford Spanish Business Dictionary or Webster's New World English-Spanish/Spanish-English Business Dictionary instead of this one.

A superb resource for real estate salesmen

English-Spanish Real Estate Dictionary is a handy compilation of 2,000 real estate terms and definitions for quick translation from English to Spanish or Spanish to English. For maximum convenience, each English and Spanish definition is listed side by side; the first half of the book organizes the entries in English alphabetical order, the second half in Spanish alphabetical order. A superb resource for real estate salesmen, home owners, prospective home owners, and anyone seeking to pass the real estate licensing exam.
