A heart wrenching look at the lives of Chinese immigrants, and the hurdles they must jump in their search for a better life. Often it leads them to conditions worse than where they were trying to escape from. As an ESL teacher, it is imperative to know where your student base is coming from both geographically, and emotionally. Danling Fu brings you into a hidden world and shines some much needed sunlight. A must read.
