USER REVIEWS

Very helpful!

This is the third year I have used the Dayplanner and love the improvements to this year's book.

My favorite improvement was the pre-dated pages. When I first received my book, I was so relieved to realize that this one step that I used to fit into the busy start of the school year was no longer needed. Having enough room for a weekly reflection will be a great way to me for plan for improvements for next year.

If you haven't checked out the website that goes with the Daybook, take the time to do that. I would like to have more online supplemental pages, perhaps some graphic organizers?

I hope this Daybook is around for the next fifteen+ years, since I will be teaching for at least that long. :-)

A great organizer

As an English teacher, I've relied on Jim Burke for his great books on perfecting the craft of teaching. Since the first publication of the Teacher's Daybook, I've been hooked. This book is divided up in a way that allows the user to balance out school and life. There are many useful sections such as information for substitute teachers, lesson plan templates, student surveys, and room for reflection. I highly recommend this to any teacher.
