Great Review

This book is great for review in that it's very clear and well organized. I used it for making a study guide for each topic (e.g. thermodynamics, kinetics, acids and bases), and for that it was particularly helpful. My only complaint is that the practice questions at the end of each chapter are very easy, so although they may be helpful for understanding the material, I think they aren't at a level to actually be good, challenging practice for the AP or for my class at school. In fact the questions my teacher gives us for homework are always much harder than the questions in this book, so in that sense it is useless for studying for my school exams. Despite this, I would recommend it.

Good supplement for those in need

This book unlike most of Princeton's Reviews others is a good review of the material that you need to cover to get a good score on the AP exam. For me it wasn't so much helpful since my teacher prepared us extremely well(5 on test), but i know it helped some of my friends from other schools who weren't as lucky.

Awesome

I really liked this book as a review. I had a great Chemistry teacher and we reviewed a lot, but this was a great overview to study to remind me of everything. I have horrible handwriting so I could not read my notes, and this was an awesome substitute. I got a 5 on the AP exam, and I used this to study for the SAT IIs as well and I got a 780/800 on that.

The only problem I had was that it was not updated to match the new test.

school required purchase

The high school required the purchase of this book for the AP Chemistry class. I was pleased it was so easily accessible and used copies were available. The school year just began, I am sure it must be a good source of help for the students since the teacher is requiring it at the beginning of the year.

Great review book

This book covers almost all topics you'll see on the actual test. And it really helps if you need an overall review just before the test.
However, it didn't cover much on the Organic and Nuclear chemistry. Well, even though these two topics are not emphasized(about 5 MC), you really need to go over them if you really want a 5 on the test.
And, do every question(including the free response questions).
Be confident, the actual test will be easier than you have thought.
