EDITORIAL REVIEW

Gordon Yamamoto, a dim-witted but loveable student at Quiggenberry High School, learns an important lesson on life after getting something unexpectedly lodged up his nostril. This is an offbeat and human story with powerful storytelling. The original three issue comic book series was A 1997 Xeric Grant! This collection also features a new 10 page story "Sammy the Baker and the M.A.C."

Creator Gene Yang's Rosary Comic Book made the National Catholic Bookseller's Top Ten Bestsellers' List for Children and Young People.

USER REVIEWS

Very cool book!
~ Written on Aug 23, 2004. 3 out of 5 users found this review helpful.

This is a very cool book. Yang is a master of creating very human characters who exist in a world where anything can happen. Gordon Yamamoto is one of those books that is full of humor and creativity, while maintaining a deep concern for the intricacies of human relationships.

I recommend it!
