ABOUT THIS BOOK

USER REVIEWS

A good intro to Second Language Acquisition
~ Written on Dec 23, 2006. 4 out of 5 users found this review helpful.

I had to read about half of this book for a graduate seminar in SLA this semester. Some of the chapters get a bit challenging to read, but overall, it's a good intermediate introduction to the subject.

A must have for FL/SL professionals

This is an affordable, authoritative resource on SLA research. Chapters from leading research figures, including Long, DeKeyser, Nick Ellis, and Peter Robinson will prove invaluable for the language teacher, graduate student, or researcher. The chapters are broadly representative of major approaches to language acquisition research. Highly recommended.
