Awesome for Path

This is pretty much a must-have for and physicians bookshelf. So far its been great for my MS2 Path class.

A big book
~ Written on Nov 18, 2009. out of users found this review helpful.

Robbins and Cotran's book is quite dense, and goes into more detail than may be necessary in the preclinical years. By the same token, it paints a clear and comprehensive picture of each pathology, so that reading it would leave any student with a great command in each topic for the boards. Blue boxes with key morphological findings concisely illuminate the pathology's major findings. As pathology ties together most of the other preclinical areas of study, this book probably deserves a place in each student's armamentarium.

Pages were missing!

The book content itself is fine...but there are 13 pages missing from the index! So when I went to look up a term as I was studying, I was suprised to find that the book was missing 13 pages - indeces R through T. For $95, I would expect that all of the pages be in the book!

This is the most important book about pathology ever released. And this new version is full of news. The most recent research fields about all the systems are now updated, and with new chapters, and photographs. Is worthfull for every student of health sciences.
Awesome!

Old faithful!

This is just an updated version of the good old Robbins I have been using for years and trust. I haven't used another path book but I have no desire to try anything else as it's the only book that has proven itself.
