EDITORIAL REVIEW

Doris Kloster is one of the world’s leading fetish photographers. Unlike the work of most of her contemporaries in this field who specialize in photographing fetish and fashion models in artificial studio settings, her work shows the secret real-life decadent world of dominance and submission. The previously unpublished color, duotone, and black-and-white photographs presented in Fetish World were shot on location in many private dungeons and provide an unforgettable insider’s view of dominatrixes and their slaves in full costume and highlighting their use of sexual props and positions.

ABOUT THIS BOOK

A Really Juicy Monograph
~ Written on Jul 1, 2008. 1 out of 1 users found this review helpful.

If fetish is a style, a look, an image, this book is its bible. It's sexy, juicy, brilliantly staged and photographed. I cannot avoid the feeling that there is substance beneath the style, and this book sometimes gives a hint of what may be hidden in it. Anyway, it's captivating, luscious, and mesmerizingly intense. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Nice Book

For a 7.99 price brand new it is certainly worth it. The pics are great but sometimes the settings are not. Great NY scenery, lotsa drag but generally good work. Its art and eroticism. Not the most awesome collection of work but very well done.

Fantastic Art Book!

This book is truly a work of art. The quality of the pics of this book is wonderful. Several images just need a frame to decorate your wall. We have spent hours pouring over the detail in this book. It makes a wonderful gift or addition to a collection. Highly recommended.
This is a coffee Table book.

Confused collection of passable photography
~ Written on May 29, 2006. 4 out of 7 users found this review helpful.

Kloster offers a confusing array of atmospheres - grainy shots of lifestylers, Maybelline models wearing vinyl teddies and comically unconvincing sneers, one saddening shot of a little Russian prostitute posing leadenly in fetish heels, amateurish (and not charming) shots of preened and posturing club celebs. To call this "a visual exploration of fetish" is misleading. This is a jumbled mess of people wearing unusual clothing.

Latex Fantasies/City Whips
~ Written on May 26, 2006. 4 out of 6 users found this review helpful.

"A visual exploration of fetish" describes it quite well. Rubber dresses, cross dressers, homosexuals in drag, Catholic school girls, whips, spanking. You couldn't ask for much more.

This book is charged erotica in picture form. It's an explosion of colors and attitude in a way that will make even the most ardently celibate want to dabble.

The only problem? There isn't nearly enough pictures. This book should've been about 300 pages.
