USER REVIEWS

Best purchase ever!

My students this year seem to be struggling a lot with spelling. I needed a different tactic besides our typical spelling activities each week for my students to make progress. I have seen this process done many times in the past but just shrugged it off because I didn't know where I was going to fit it in during the day. I have made the time for only 15-20 minutes to do this short, simple lesson each day. I have seen my students make progress already. They love the challenge of finding out the secret word each day, too. If your students are having a hard time with spelling, make this purchase and you will not regret it.

Making More Words is a great resource for my SLD/EH reading class. It helps the students to see how letters can be arrange to make other words from one big word. My class likes these activites.

I am a reading specialist who previews new books all the time. I liked this book because it emphasizes the connection between spelling and phonics which is like being two sides of a coin. In addition, the activities are suitable for various levels and they seem to be classroom tested because I can sense that they are very realistic and practical.
