USER REVIEWS

A must for all horror fans and writers
~ Written on Feb 16, 2005. out of users found this review helpful.

I also read this book when I was younger, and with its creepy stories and even more chilling endings it is the horror book to read. Being a horror auother myself I feel that this book along with Poe's the Tell-Tale heart" had inspired me to write my own book of short stories of horror. So, if you do decide to pick up this book, I suggust you read footsteps first, it was truly my favorite among others.
So thank you, Ms. J.B.Stamper. You are a fantasic horror writer.

Orginal Goosebumps!

This book came out long before R.L.Stine's masterpieces. Compiled of a dozen or so stories, it's a book you can't put down! Mostly folklore tales and campfire stories it is all for the teen horror reader. This book is part of a 4 or 5 book series.

I read this book when I was in 6th Grade. It was excellent. The tales were eirie, and they sent chills down my back as I read them. At 21, I was sharing what I remember of the writings with a few friends a minute ago. I need to buy this book again, and I am about to now.

I recomend this book, it is excellent.
