Please Don't Eat the Daisies

I was very pleased with my "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" movie. The quality was good and the color was bright. I hadn't seen this movie in years and it was every bit as funny and entertaining as i remembered it to be when i watched it on television years ago. I found myself laughing out loud while watching it. And the price was awesome too. Thank you Amazon for making these old movies available and at such good prices too. It makes it easy for me to expand my dvd collection of older films without spending a fortune to do it. I watched it with my 19 year old daughter, who had never seen it, and she loved it too. So nice to be able to share some of my favorite childhood films with my daughter. I would highly recommend this movie.

I love Doris Day and really enjoy David Niven and something about this film makes me laugh. The kids might be a bit over the top but the rest of the cast is top notch. The story is a simple one, Niven a collage professor moves into a newspaper job as a Broadway reviewer and starts getting a big head with the power it gives him. This leads to all kinds of interesting little bits that are both funny and interesting.

It's better than most of the Hudson and Day films.

I love this movie, David Nivens and Doris Day are great together , but then i love everything with Ms Day in it.

This is my favorite Doris Day movie. She plays a very funny mother and her chemistry with James Garner is terrific. This is a great family movie.

This is one of Doris Day's best movies in my opinion. It holds your interest and makes you laugh.
