Default How do you count "curtains"?

    Hello,

Again another possibly silly question from me. How do you count "curtains"? Do you count one piece of cloth on one side of the window as one curtain? OR Do you count one curtain (both sides) per window?

    Thank you.

We usually hang a pair of curtains at our windows.

But a pair of curtains consists, of course, of two curtains. You can count them. So one curtain hangs on the left and one curtain hangs on the right. In the case of my sitting room bay window, I have three curtains!

Curtains? Bay window? Luxury!!! When I were a lad, I lived in a cardboard box with a hole cut out for a window....

You were lucky! We lived in a hole with a cardboard box for a roof, we didn't have any of your sissy windows!
