Any other themes for the Great Gatsby?
The following theme topics I got were
-Lack of morality and superficiality among the rich.
-Destructive/Unrequited Love
-greed/ambition for money. Uses money to solve everything.
Any others? if you can add some topics with a reply, that would be helpful

I think it may be helpful to view Nick as the cornerstone or foundation of the true American Spirit, he does not die, he weathers the storm, he is intact.
A significant symbol is found in the end as he is sitting on the front steps, it is where he was in the beginning of the novel. Though he may be a bit more disillusioned and seem worn thin, even ragged in spirit. He returns to the central part of the United States, the heart of the country, to refresh his soul, to find his strength.
Hope you find this helpful.
