Well, I can't say much more than what I said above, out of 350 pages I've only read 70 ... haven't had much time for reading lately. I know I said I wanted to try modern authors, but I'm about to buy "North and South" by Elizabeth Gaskell...(yeah, I can't help myself) Has anyone read it?

If you liked 'Treasure Island', I recommend 'The Count of Monte Cristo'- one of my favourites.
