I love reading romantic novels, both for the sake of reading and to practise and learn vocabulary. I've read "Jane Eyre", "Pride and Prejudice", the whole "Anne of Green Gables" series (years ago, but I reread it from time to time 'cos I love it!), "Gone with the Wind" (my favourite so far) and I'm currently reading "Emma" and "Treasure Island" (not romantic, I know, but I'm also fond of pirate stories). I've tried "Wuthering Heights" but the plot is a bit too dark for my taste. Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be a classic, I'd like to read new stuff as well but I have no idea about authors.

All good stuff, but there is so much more. Why don't you try more modern writers? Experiment and explore.

hey! I think I've just reached the right spot, any way. I do like reading, very much indeed, but before I tell or let's say recommand some books let me ask you something, I've bought 'pride and prejudice', what do think about it? Tell something that would make me start reading it. And what about 'EMMA' as well? OK have you ever read any book by LEE CHILD? or JAMES PATTERSON? I like their work! 'ONE SHOT' by LEE v v v awesome. Oh don't forget 'STATE of FEAR' for it's the bomb

Hello! I am reading "Emma" at the moment, and I find it easier to read for some reason. "P&P" struck me as being a bit slow-paced...But again, that is my impression, possibly influenced by the movie, I saw it before reading the book. Never read anything by Lee Child or James Patterson. What do they write about?

I recommend books by George Orwell. Fantastic plots from a real life. Every book with a different topic and different style of writing. His books made a deep and great impression on me.

oh yes I like George Orwell work, he's a very good writer, and as LEE C. and JAMES P. they-as far as I know- write novels about police, detectives and things like that but they're so great
