Can anyone please give me a short serious poem using alliteration.
Thank you

Re: Alliteration
This wide wide world is awash with water.
This wet wet world whirls around a yellow sun.
A rock silently sailing through outer space,
It carries with it the human race.

Re: Alliteration
This is the best one I can think of:
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore-
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door-
Only this, and nothing more."
E,A. Poe's The Raven, of course. But it is just the first stanza, as the poem is long and not short.
But his use of alliteration is utterly masterful.
