| I want to read a book of "Agatha Christi -Miss Marple" as my dad has a lot of these books in his little library. Which book or short story do you prefer or is anyone of you a fan of Agatha Christi ? Thank you! Céline xx |

| A good one to start with is The Thirteen Problems; and my favourites, The Body in the Library and A Murder is Announced. To appreciate the quintessential 'Englishess' of the village settings, the period and the characters in these books, try to borrow or rent the Miss Marple DVD series with Joan Hicks (NOT the more recent abominations with Geraldine McEwan.) Is 'Christi" how her name is spelt in your part of the world, or a typo for "Christie"? Oh, what a treat you have in store, ...and then ..........to be followed by Poirot!! | Thank you for your response! I'll search these books this evening when I'm back home. Would you like to talk about this topic with me for a while? Bye xx |
