presentation about literature.please help!!

Since it's morning here in Suadi Arabia , i would say "Good morning"
i'm supposed to make a presentation about literature : how it affects people lives ,why do we read it.....and things like that.
i have searched for interesting related topics but they were either boring or repeated. i'm a graduate student and i'm completing my studies about English literature.so ; it's very important to have a good presentation .
i'm asking for your help , any kind of help ,recommend a website or relevant topic and i'll be so thankful.
P.S: i have only two days.

I suppose you've addressed some of the main literary theories about what literature is, how it should be read, whose interests it serves, etc. Is it morally corrective? Should it be? Is it art for art's sake and should it be appreciated as such? O should it have a purpose. Have you addressed to popular political theories of how to read literature - Marxism, feminism, racism. (Congratulations if you've avoided these.)

First you don't have much time so I would recommend that you not do any research. As a graduate student in english literature, you should already know everything you need to know on this topic.

Organise your presentation around three questions (you've already come up with two) and then simply answer them. Back up your answers to each question with evidence - examples, statistics, quotes. For example, you could weave in some personal stories - why did you get interested in english literature? what impact has it had on your life?
