I need someone to reread me

I translated a text from French to English but I do not really know if the whole of it sounds English or not.

I actually need an anglophone speaker to read it and say if it is understandable.

Examples :
- Can I use the word 'fighter' if I do not mean a boxer ?
- Isthe term'comic opera-gestured heros' correct ?

The text is short (half of a page)

The word fighter doesn't have to mean boxer.
