"I had a high hope and still have high hopes in joining the team and based on that I got myself prepared for joining the team and started making research and get myself ready for this new assignment. I am hoping that I get your support going forward.

If you still need some time to evaluate the team please let me know."

I appreciate your support in proofreading my above message.

I'm a little confused.

Everybody will assume that you wanted to be hired or you wouldn't have sent them a job application and sat for an interview. Are you trying to tell them you are disappointed that they haven't hired you yet?

Also, why would you do research if you haven't been hired and don't have an assignment?

Yes, you are right.

I made a research based on the high hopes that I got from him.

We do research to learn something. It's unclear to me what your research was for.

As always, many thanks.

What research have you been doing? Either tell him what you researched or don't mention research at all. Otherwise it can sound ominous or flaky.

What do you base your high hopes on? And I would say high hopes of joining your team.
