Hi, teachers:
I'm trying to compile lists of animal words. And I'm planning to include two categories:
1. adjectives end with suffix "-ine", the ones I've collected so far are as follows:
Any other ones apart from these??
2. List of " Animal in general-Animal plural--female anmial -baby animal ", this may sound confusing to you, the following is an example:
"tiger, tigers, tigress, xxx " (I don't know the word for "baby tigers")
"ox, oxen, cow, xxx" (don't know the word for "baby oxen", either)
"goose, geese, goose, gosling"
I'm not making a complete list of all animals. I only need help with animals with variants in female, plural and baby forms. I remember coming across quite a lot of "baby animal words" end with the suffix "-ling", but can't recall the exact animals in question.
Apologies for so many questions and thanks in advance to all answerers.
