Dear all,

what would be the one word that includes employee(s) and volunteer(s) ?

Or even more: employee(s), volunteer(s), student(s), teacher(s), worker(s) ?

All I can think of is: person, people, staff, member.. But I think there should be some better words :)

Thanks...

'People' would work. In what context do you want to use it? (You will get used to being asked this).

Thanks for answering.

I need to create the parent class for Employee and Volunter in programming.
For example, as Vehicle is parent for Car and Ship.

"Worker" would work for me. That can cover both paid and unpaid positions.

Like Raymott I would use 'people', as 'worker' is already in the list.
