[Vocabulary] organizational structure

I need help with naming of organization levels. I would like to make it correctly. I have a list of 5 items.

1. Club
2. ?? group of clubs
3. ?? group of level 2
4. ?? group of level 3
5. Organization

Hello Mike,

let's say we have a big organization containing many (sport) clubs. These clubs are geographically organized to groups for administrative purpose. I am looking for right names for the organization levels.

I'd put the hierarchy the other way - the highest at the top.

International <sport> Association/Organization
National "
State "
City "
Local <sport> Club

I'm not a sports lover. Why not check how some other sports are organized. eg.FIFA, FINA, IOC, etc.

You can have "districts" and "regions" as subsets of a large organization. You could be organized by states as well.

So maybe there are several districts in each state, and several states together create a region. All the regions make up the entire organization.

"Sub-regions" are also possible.
