Is PE(physical education) on the UK/US curriculum? or it is classified as extracurricular activities.

Is it different from the one in China?
I'm quite interested in it.

It is a course in which you get a grade in our school district.

I think the shool curriculum embodies PE, so are there any extra-curricular activities in your schools?

And, I forgot to say: Thank you.

12. the hustle and bustle of city life.

Could you tell me the discrepancy between 'hustle' and 'bustle'?
Are 'relation' and 'relationship' interchangeable?

Your help is my motivation to learn more about English. Thank you

Yes, of course. Everything from organized sports to newspapers to drama to cultural studies.

To my mind, you can't switch these two words as they do not mean the same thing.
"My relationship" refers to your boy/girlfriend, roughly.
"My relation", refers clearly, IMO, to your familly/close parents.

Dood.

Not a teacher's opinion.

It's a compulsory subject in the UK National Curriculum.

In that expression, they don't have separate meanings. If you remove 'hustle' from 'hustle and bustle', you don't get left with just 'bustle'. ;-) 'Hustle and bustle' is a bit like 'argie-bargie', except that the two constituent words both have distinct meanings in other contexts.
