[Grammar] please explain it grammatically.i am confused.

A. The child is bathing naked in the pond.

B. The child is bathing nakedly in the pond.

Do these two sentences above express same meaning in english? and when i use adjective or adverb after the verb like this? and can i split these two sentences above like this...................A. being naked, the child is bathing in the pond B.nakedly the child is bathing in the pond. please explain it grammatically.

Note that The child is bathing naked in the pond would have been a better, more eyecatching thread title.

You need the adjective. It describes the child. It's an inversion of 'The naked child is bathing in the pond'.

"naked" is correct, because it's an appearance verb. Adjectives are also used with sense verbs (feel, taste, smell, sound, appear or seem).

I cannot recommend the other sentences A and B.
A. Being naked means: As a naked (person). That sounds not good.
B. Nakedly the child ... can mean; As an easily offended child...
