You mean utensils, not utilities.

In BrE, plates, cups, saucers, bowls, dishes etc are called crockery.

Knives, forks and spoons are called cutlery.

Speakers of American and other varieties of English will speak for themselves.

In AmE, "eating culture" would not be used to describe items used in the kitchen.

"Eating culture" would not be used in this context (or any other that I can think of) in BrE either.
