Firstly, I have made a sentence here:

"In any era, a human can never live two lifes."

Is it grammatically okay?

Then, I would like to make some change on it thus:

"Never in any era can a human live two lifes."

Am I making the change right?

"Lifes" should be "Lives" I guess.

:shock:Yes, I guess so.

"live two lifes" means "two life journeys" (to revive and live again...)

"live two lives" means "to have two different life experiences in one life journey"

(and I'm definitely trying to say the latter.)

Is that your meaning?

There is no "lifes."

The plural of "life" is "lives."

I didn't really understand what you were saying, no. Were you talking about reincarnation, or were you talking about having a private life and a public life?

I was talking about the virtual world and the reality.

We can't live in vital world before the computer was invented.

We couldn't live in the virtual world before the computer? True. But people have always had a public life and a private life, and sometimes they were very different. Consider Jack the Ripper. Do you think he lived two lives simultaneously?

Your question really inspires me.

Then how about:

"Never in any era can all humans live in two different worlds."

It seems to me that the case of Jack the Ripper was something of an oddity that not all of us could have experienced.

I like the image of two worlds -- that works.

I think many people have had to keep two major parts of their life so separate that at times they must have felt like they were living two lives. People who are policemen, working deep undercover. People working on top-secret projects by day, but trying to be normal moms and dads during the evenings. Etc.
