Is this sentence correct?

I wish I could have 30 hours a day rather than 24 hours.

I would say your sentence is not correct because it seems incomplete. The reader wonders "Why does he need more time?"

I would also add "in" before "a day" also I would remove the second "hours". It is redundant. I would only mention the time if it was not the same as "hours"

I wish I could have 30 hours in a day rather than 24. Then I could finish my work without rushing.

Thanks teacher. So helpful and informative.

Now I am studying for an IELTS exam and I am taking this test the next three months . Is this sentence OK to say?
I wish I got my IELTS score already. or I wish I could have gotten my IELTS score.

It is so confusing when we have to use "simple past tense" ad when "could/would/might + have + pp" in wish structure.

A more succinct variant you'll hear is "I need a 30 hour day just to get everything done."

I've also heard something like "He needs an eight day week to get it all done."

No, neither is a very good sentence.

I might say:

" I wish I knew my IELTS score. There are so many new opportunities that would become available to me assuming I passed, of course."

Instead of just trying a small sentence, try expressing a whole thought. It is more interesting that way.
