Hi. Do I need to put any preposition in the following case?

"The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that the cooperation within the framework of international organizations, especially the UN, is based on mutual respect."
 
No, it is not needed.
 
It looks good to me as is.
 
I would consider removing the article "the" before "cooperation".

Why? Here the interlocutors are speaking about the cooperation between Armenia and Jordan.

How was anyone supposed to know that?

The original sentence talks, in general terms, about '...cooperation within the framework of international organizations, especially the UN, is based on mutual respect'.

If it had been specific cooperation the article would still be optional, but as it stands it is better without 'the'.

Nohow.:) The sentence is cut out from the context, and I agree that as such this version does not need any article.
