I tried a lot but i didn't find the word 'Respected' in any dictionary.

Is this word exist ? Though it is past participle adjective.

Should we strictly use respectful ?

Or 'respected' can be used

'Respected' - others respect you.
'Respectful' - you show respect to others.

So, one could be either respected or respectful, or both.

I am not a teacher.

PS; Sorry 2006, I did not see your post.
