A swordsmith.

Thanks, Bhaisahab.

I cannot find the word 'swordsmith' in any of my dictionaries. Could you tell me where to look for the word?

I haven't met the word BUT many English words are formed by putting together obvious roots in meaningful ways - so any English speaker would understand 'swordsmith'. If you want a more general word that will be in most dictionaries, use armourer (but that applies equally to things other than swords; an armourer would make spears and daggers too...)

I have always known it as "swordsmith" but after some research I have found the term "bladesmith" which refers to the maker of any bladed weapon.
