Any of these would do.
I'm pretty sure that if you asked a job agency if they had any work available, they would understand that you meant do their employer clients have vacancies. This comes under 'pragmatics'.
However, they might not understand why you are asking about vacancies for research assistants or market researchers if you are neither of these.
