Could you help me with this question:

Did you do a good ___________ in the last driving test?
A. career B. work C. employment D. job
I know that the answer is either "B" or "D". I opt B. work because when you give comment on somebody's work, you usually say "good work" but the answer is "D. job". I don't know why. Thanks for enlightening me.:?:

"To do a good job" is an idiom that has nothing necessarily to do with work. D is right.
None of the others work at all. That is, you can't "do a good career, work, or employment" in any circumstances.
