I = subject of sentence/ pronoun subject & had a conference = predicate of sentence
had = past action verb
a= article for noun conference
conference= direct object of verb had

What is THAT?

It reminds me of something my neighbor likes to say of me as a carpenter, i.e. "Never make something simple that can be made complicated."

I do not know. I found it in my grandmother's attic in a dusty old book titled '1000 Japanese knitting patterns'. Looks cool, does it not?
