Hello, my name is Merciah, and I would like to ask a question. Does anyone know what is the name of the verb in the predicate?

Welcome to the board, Merciah.

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.

Wait a while to see if anybody else does; otherwise try to ask it in a different way.

Good luck.

I don't think anyone else will :-( Unless the word the OP wants is 'finite'. Declarative sentences have a subject and a predicate, and the predicate includes a finite verb.
