Hello

We do not use "ing" as a suffix to nouns but verbs. When we are doing so we make nouns from the verbs.

to make --> making
to whistle-->whistling
to spy -->spaying

The nouns that are made from verbs adding the ing form we call verbal nouns or gerund forms or simply gerunds.

to fail ~ verb
failing ~ gerund

thank you so much

I might have failed in this.
He failed in getting a safe place.

One of my failings is that I am usually not kind enough.
My next failing is that I am weak to tall, have-more-fun blondes.

My next failing is that I am weak to tall, have-more-fun blondes.
That sound very unnatural to me. If I were such a person, I would be more likely to say:

My next failing is that I have a weakness for tall, fun-loving blondes.

In my dictionary, I've seen different types of blondes such as peroxide blondes, platinum blondes, etc.
How, in general, to say for women that naturally have black hair which is painted to yellow.
Non-natural blondes, maybe?

Thanks
