As far as I know, it is only a girl's name.

In the US in modern use, it's a girl's name.

Just the other day I saw Mrs. Henderson Presents, and the man who ran the Windmill Theater with Mrs. Henderson during WWII was Vivian Van Damm.

As far as I know, it is only a girl's name.

Some english teachers says Vivian is boy's name, Vivien is girl's name, I'm not sure if they're correct, so I wanted to ask the experts in this forum.

Vivienne would normally be feminine - Adrienne, etc.
But many names are unisex. There's a tendency to be less conservative in naming children these days, and many new parents try to use the most unlikely spelling they can think of.
I'd say your two could be either.

(You could do a Google search for "unisex names" and you'll find some useful pages)

It's more usually a girl's name, but a lot of boys have it.

The famous cricketer Viv Richards' full name is Sir Vivian Alexander Richards.

Rover

And the late singer Vivian Stanshall.

That said, a boy growing up with the name Vivian in the US would be in for a hard time from his peers.

The unisex nature of names here seems to involved using previously male names for girls -- I don't see it moving the other way.
