Hello,

All big corporations can engage in contracts

What does "engage in contracts" mean here?и Does it mean "sign/conclude contracts"?

Thanks

To engage in contract talks would mean to start contract negotiations. Not sure if that's of any relevance to you.

NOT A TEACHER.

I've never heard/read the expression "engage in contracts," but I suppose it means to enter into contracts.

But "to enter into a contract" means the same as "to sign/conclude a contract", doesn't it? If not, please provide some examples to show the difference.

I think they mean the same. "To enter into a contract" and "to conclude a contract" are more formal than "to sign a contract."
