That's a bit of me

Hi, guys and ladies.
I have a trouble with understanding piece of a speech down here:
"I love a clear fairway. That's a bit of me."
What is "That's a bit of me" supposed to mean?
Is it just like "I like it" or "This is the way I'm thinking" or what?
Could you please help me to get this right.
It would be nice to see an example of another sentence with the same or similar meaning.

It could mean:

That's just my opinion.

That means a lot to me.

That's what's important to me.

That's how I think.

Well, the context is then about two men get appear on the golf course and one of them said that phrase which I had put up before.
I think that no 2 and 3 are the most suitable aren't they?

It could also mean, "That's how I am, too" or "It reminds me of myself."

"A clear fairway" may be a metaphor for nothing being in his way, a problem-free future; direct and clear of obstacles.

Yes, I realize that sometimes it's difficult to understand the meaning of the phrase being said even if you're native speaker (although I've drown a conclusion based on my own experience).
If you're interested in that I got the phrase from the film "RocknRolla" and still don't exactly understand what Lenny Cole did mean by that...

These phrases are a great alternative for the phrase "that's a bit of me," which sounds like a cockney phrase.

"that's a bit of me," is colloquial and doesn't really make sense when taken literally.

But maybe you can see that the emphasis is on something being "a bit of" someone, meaning, it is a part of them, or a part of their life. That it is important to them.

Anyway, I've only heard it used in another context: when someone sees a woman who they think is attractive, they say "that's a bit of me." Which sounds even more unusual.
