    What are your business hours?

    The Japan Foundation, Seoul
Question: What are your business hours?
Answer: We are open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m...

Is this answer okay? Isn't "They are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m..." correct?

Re: What are your business hours?

    1. What are your business hours?
    2. When are you open?

We can ask a clerk and a librarian the second question, but we can't ask a librarian the first question, can we?

"Business hours" are for organisations carrying on a business.
For libraries, you can use "opening hours". In fact, you can use this term for businesses as well.
