1. My father parks in the multi-storey car park if it rains.

2. My father parks his car/van/pick up in the multi-storey car park if it rains.

Is the first sentence correct without any object in it, as indicated in the second sentence?

Thanks.

To park is to put or leave a vehicle in a public place. So I think, the first sentence expresses the idea, although it doesn't have an expressed object.

1. My father parks in the multi-storey car park if it rains.

2. My father parks his car/van/pick-up in the multi-storey car park if it rains.
Both are fine.

Thanks, Fivejedjon, for pointing out the spelling error.
