I was having a conversation with my friend last night at home. And in the middle of our conversation I suddenly said, "Aren't I pretty." Then, I wondered whether I was correct or not. I searched for it in the Internet, and it seems correct. But I need to get your advice so I can really be sure.

The full form "Am I not pretty?" sounds very formal and stilted. The only possible short version is "Aren't I pretty?". This is correct.
