Hi everybody
In the sentence "we are bleaming them for it" I don't understand the meaning of the word them.
For me the correct way of this sentence is "we are bleaming for it".
thanks.

In the sentence "we are bl[STRIKE]e[/STRIKE]aming them for it" I don't understand the meaning of the word them.
Presumably it is somebody previously referred to.
For me the correct way of this sentence is "we are bl[STRIKE]e[/STRIKE]aming for it".
You can blame somebody, or you can be blamed. You cannot simply blame.

ps. Sorry, I didn't notice this was your first post. Welcome to the forum.

I understand that I can blame somebody or I can be blame for something but It's possible saying "we are blaming somebody for something"?
For me it's correct "we are blame us for it" or "we blame them for it".

*** NOT A TEACHER ***

Tom: Why are you angry with me?

Joe: Mona was going to marry me. Then she met you. You are more handsome than I am.

Tom: That's true.

Joe: Well, Mona has left me. I blame you for taking Mona away from me.

Tom: Don't worry, dude. There's a lot of fish in the sea. You'll soon find another

girlfriend.
