Dear all,

In the sentences below, do you think it's okay to put commas?

1. Bonds is, and always will be my hero.
2. I love London, and always will do.

OP

Thank you!

I think you missed a word on the first one.

Bonds is, and always will be, my hero.
I love London and always will.

Dear all,

emsr2d2, thanks for your reply.

2. I love london, and always will do.

Is "do" unnecessary?

In my opinion, "do" is unnecessary. Personally, I wouldn't use the comma either as per my suggestion: I love London and always will. The second "I" is optional.
