"what might put fingerprinting on unreliable theoretical ground?"

or should i use "could" or "will" instead of it?

Welcome to the forum, Rock Girl. :hi:
[STRIKE]i[/STRIKE] Is it [STRIKE]true[/STRIKE] correct/appropriate/acceptable to use "might" in the question below?

"[STRIKE]w[/STRIKE] What might put fingerprinting on unreliable theoretical ground?"
Yes

or should [STRIKE]i[/STRIKE] I use "could" or "will" instead of it?
You can. In this particular example, there is little practical difference in meaning between 'could' and 'might', but 'will' expresses greater certainty.
Please use capital letters for the first word of a sentence and the first person pronoun.
