Most correct tenses forms

Hi fellows, I wonder if these sentences are ANY correct , please make you own general opinon if these below can be understandable in any way. Have you ever met with kinds of these down beneath:

She had watched a video after the children went to bed.
He had gone to New York after stopped with school.
He had gone to the pool after bought swimsglasses.

He had gone to the pool after buying swimsglasses.

Is it sound awful?

He had gone to New York after [STRIKE]stopped with [/STRIKE] finishing school. Same comment as above.
He had gone to the pool after bought swim[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE]glasses. No, but "after he bought" would be OK.
He had gone to the pool after buying swim[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE]glasses. OK

Do
[STRIKE]Is[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]it [/STRIKE] they sound awful?

It would really help to know the purpose of the past perfect in these sentences.
Why not 'She watched a video after the children had gone to bed', if the author insists on perfect forms?
What's wrong with 'He has gone to New York after finishing (dropping out of?) school' or simply 'He went to New York after school'?
