Good morning,

The products I sell have a price (1). We sometimes give discounts for a specific period of time (which doesn't correspond to the sales). We therefore have a different price during that period (2).

What are the right terms here, please?

1-original price, permanent price?

2-price after discount, price during special offer?

Thank you very much

Will

1. original price

2. offer price/special offer price/discounted price/sale price/promotional price

Original price/price after discount/sale price are the terms you'd probably encounter most frequently in AmE.

"List price" is also used to refer to the normal selling price of an item.

Like, "that's $1000 list, but with your discount it's $900."
