Is this sentence right :"Not a word out off his mouth, did he leave me alone in the house at midnight"?

Further, it's not at all clear what you meant to say. We can't offer a correction when we can't get your intended meaning. Try to say it in a simpler way.

I assume it means, "Without saying a word, he left me alone in the house at midnight."
Of course, it's wrong.

Remember that inversion doesn't work in every sentence. This is an example of where it's not appropriate ("did he" doesn't work).

What I meant is that I wonder if I can use inversion construction here (did he leave me alone...).
Can I use it? If not, how should I rewrite this sentence?
